The Securities Analyst 1.2
Copyright (c) 1988 by Gregory M. Schueman & James H. Lee
===========================================================================
This is the Securities Analyst Version 1.2. There are two disks in this
package: "SecAnalyst1.2" and "DataDisk". We suggest that when version 1.3
od Amiga Dos becomes available that you upgrade. This will speed your printing
times we 7-9 times according to Commodore Business Machines. Feel free to
think up any thing you would like changed or implemented and send these to
Free Spirit Software so that we can respond in a second edition. This
allows us to meet your needs, but we need your input to do so.
On the "SecAnalyst1.2" disk we suggest you use the NotePad or another
editor to leave notes on each stock for reference. There is no space left
on this disk so we recommend that you save everything on the "DataDisk".
On the "DataDisk we have included several things. First some stocks
to get the feel of the program from and for practice. Secondly there are
two other sets of programs located here: The Amiga Replacement Project(ARP)
which consist of smaller and faster CLI programs i.e. LIST, DIR etc...
These are public domain feel free to enjoy them. Only remember if you are
using them, the dos library should remain on your boot disk otherwise The
Securities Analyst will not function properly. This means put the ARP.LIBRARY
on the disk but don't delete the DOS.LIBRARY.
The other directory, CONMAN, is a shareware program by William Hawes
and is not public domain. If you like it please pass it around and follow
the license(send him your usage fee). It is a wonderful Console Handler.
I highly recommend it. Enjoy.
Since The Securities Analyst is a business pgm and might be put on a
hard disk we have not copy protected it. Besides of which I don't believe in
it. Please respect this and do not copy it for others or distribute it in any
fashion. Some people hope to eat(namely us the programers). Enjoy it and
hopefully the slow screen updates will be taken care of when True Basic fixes
their monolithic compiler. Until then that's what we are forced to live with.
HAPPY INVESTING !!
Compliments of NORAD or course!!
